Content Showcase extravaganza #OnlyTheBest at the Outrigger Beach
Resort, Bel Ombre in the South Coast of Mauritius
More
than 200 people, including representatives from different local and
international channels and journalists, who converged in Mauritius for
the MultiChoice Africa extravaganza, applauded the boy for the best
performance.
Platnumz
performed in the last day of The MultiChoice Africa Content Showcase
which ended with exciting birthday party to celebrate one year of the
Vuzu Amp channel.
The
party saw exciting mixes for DJ Neptune and DJ SpinAll as well as
performances Patoranking, Sauti Sol and our man Diamond Platnumz from
Tanzania.
The show case which was attended by numerous celebrities including Ik Osakioduwa, Rita Dominic, Genevieve Nnaji, Eku Edewor, Banky W, Adebola Williams, Desmond Elliot, Noble Igwe, Tosyn Bucknor, Mr. Flavour and more were exciting.

The week long showcase saw DStv’s biggest channels, including Sony, SuperSport, Zee World, A+E, Disney, MTV Base, BET, Comedy Central, BBC and M-Net previewing
their newest content , giving journalists and bloggers and awe stunning
eyes topping with VIP Treatment. We were more than 90 journalists from
the globe.
From Dare s salaam Tanzania we were me, Zainul Mzige, Modewjiblog
Operations Manager, Masembe Tambwe from Daily News, Paul Owere from The
Citizen, Sylvester Domasa from The Guardian, Selemani Shineni from
Mtanzania and Millard Ayo from Clouds FM Radio.
Journalists from Tanzania we were accompanied by the Public Relations Officer, MultiChoice Tanzania, Barbara Kambogi.
To wrap up the week-long of activities, MultiChoice held the one year anniversary of Vuzu Amp, a South African youth-oriented digital satellite television channel produced by M-Net for DStv and described as “an amplified experience” of the current Vuzu channel, featuring local and international content.
During
the Night of a Thousand Stars attended by media from across Africa as
well as some arts and big celebrities including those from Nigeria who
are doing wonders in our little screens, MultiChoice Africa’s CEO, Tim
Jacobs confirmed that the company would do its best to provide
outstanding content to subscribers.
Meanwhile, Vuzu AMP, DStv’s premier youth brand is turning up the heat on content across Afric
